Born in Kütahya in 1962, Kaçan graduated from Kütahya Vocational High School, Department of Chemistry. Having served as a board member in various professional chambers, associations and cooperatives, Kaçan took part in business with the companies she founded. Having received embroidery training from Servet Kavdır and Emine Tungkafa at Kütahya Public Education Center, Kaçan joined Kütahya Fine Arts Association and took part in the exhibition in Istanbul Beylerbeyi Palace. Kaçan received the title of traditional hand embroidery artist from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism and participated in many exhibitions abroad with her works. The artist, who is married with two children, is a member of the board of directors of Kütahya Culture and Art Association and Anatolian Handicrafts Preservation and Development Association.
