Ayşe Semra Baykal, born in 1951, is a graduate of Mimar Sinan University Textile Design Department. She worked as a designer at Paşabahçe Glass Factory for a period of time, and participated in many personal and group exhibitions. Baykal continues to work on embroidery fabric designs at her own workshop. Some of the students she trained are Özden Güler and Asuman Karaarslan.
