Born in 1970 in the Ödemiş district of Izmir, Sav attended primary and secondary school in Ödemiş. Sav spent her childhood learning silkworm care and silk making with mulberry leaves from her grandmother, and she further developed her mastership in this field in the following years and participated in traditional souvenir fairs in various regions of Türkiye. She teaches her skills, which she makes by cooking and dyeing raw silks with root dyes, to housewives in the region where she lives and helps them make economic contributions for their families. Sav, who aims to create unique and aesthetic works using handmade needle lace and to promote traditional Turkish handicrafts to a wide audience, was given Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer Artist Promotion Card by the General Directorate of Research and Education of Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2009. Sav continues to develop her traditional work in the field of silk needle embroidery in Ödemiş region.
