Yunus Türk was born in Istanbul in 1965. He started working in the field of pearl inlaying in 1980, and took classes from Lütfü Türk and İbrahim İmamoğlu. Türk took part in the restoration projects of the inlayed doors of Topkapı Palace Harem Department, Hagia Sophia Museum I. Mahmud Library, Süleymaniye Mosque; the furnitures and the doors of Regional Directorate of Foundations; the balusters of I. Abdülhamid Tomb and Nuruosmaniye Tomb.
