Mihela Georgeta Alpayer was born in Ploieşti city of Romania in 1971. She graduated from Prahova Bracaneşti Agroindustrial. She took her first illumination classes from Gülnur Duran in Kubbealtı Workshop. She continued her illumination training at Sema Workshop, which was managed by Mamure Öz, and between 2004-2006, she completed the Topkapı Palace Turkish Decorative Arts Illumination Course, which was given by Semih İrteş and Mamure Öz. Alpayer did studies with Semih İrteş in his illumination specialization class. She also received miniature training from Taner Alakuş in 2009. The artist won many awards and participated in group and personal exhibitions with her works. Veysel Çiftçi is the student Alpayer trained.
