In 1997, he started his professional art life at Erkan Yücel Public Theater. He worked as an actor in Tuncay Özinel Theater, Abdullah Şahin Nokta Theater and many private theaters. He appeared in various motion pictures and TV series. He was approved by UNESCO and Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkish Republic as Intangible Cultural Heritage. He participated in festivals with Karagöz (A Shadow Play) and Puppet plays at home and abroad. He was awarded by Turkey’s National Center of UNIMA (International Puppetry Association) for “Best Artist Award of Karagöz Puppet”. In 2017 he was granted by Karagöz Association to UNESCO “Living Human Treasure Metin Özlen Special Award”. He worked as a guest Karagöz and Puppet artist at Mimar Sinan University student club in 2007. He taught Karagöz-Puppet and Traditional Theater lessons at the IMM (İstanbul Metropolitian Municipality) Performing Arts Center and Kayseri Municipal Conservatory. In 2012, the artist made puppets, depiction, stage designs and perform for Leyla and Mecnun in 2012, Şahmaran in 2015, and Tomato King in 2017 which he brought together the disciplines of Shadow, Karagöz, Roped Puppet, Table Puppet and Meddah. While performing classical Karagöz plays, the artist reinterprets some classics with today's language and techniques. The artist also wrote and adopted original Karagöz plays like Karagöz in Dinosaur Land, Karagöz’s Organs, Karagöz’s Sea Dream and Musa Tree.
