Ali Karaca was born in Istanbul in 1978. He started as an apprentice at Yilmaz Saz House in 1996. He learned the subtleties of the craft from craftsmen like Oktay Yilmaz, Celal Doldur and Kemal Eroğlu. In 2000, he founded CKM Music Bağlama Workshop and started producing instruments, and organized many events so far.
