Türkan Altunbaş was born in 1968. In 1989, she started to teach qualified instructor on hand and machine embroidery. She completed her education at the Traditional Turkish Handcrafts Department of Kırıkkale University Vocational School. By opening different courses in Ankara and Yalova; she made dolls of handmade in various size and beauty. Altunbaş continues her undergraduate education and gives trainings on doll making.
