Born in Iskenderun in 1968, Gençler graduated from Atatürk University, Department of English Language and Literature. After working as a lecturer at Afyon Kocatepe University and then at Ege University School of Foreign Languages, Gençler retired in 2023 and developed his own art and style inspired by Ottoman architecture. Gençler, who uses different materials such as wood, polyester, ceramics, aerated concrete and stone in his artworks, continues to work in his own workshop.
