Born in the Söke district of Aydın in 1989, Kökoğlu has been interested in the art of rosary beads since his childhood. He started to perform as a master of rosary making in 2017 and received the title of “artist” in 2022. Kökoğlu produces innovative artworks in the traditional way and continues to train new artists.
