Serpil Kıldır was born in Burdur in 1957. She started working on patchworking in USA in 1980s, and attended to various patchworking courses. Starting from 2014, she began producing works in various handicraft fields, mainly paper piecing patchworking. The student she trained is Özlem Kıldır.
