Born in 1977, Ebru Çağıl received her certificate in 2011 from Ayten Tiryaki, with whom she began studying illumination in 2007. The students of Çağıl, some of whose works are in private collections and exhibited in group exhibitions, are Saliha Metin, Elif Kolbaşı and Dilcan Çağıl.
