Elif Fişek Öztürk was born in Istanbul in 1982. She first graduated from the Restoration Department of Trakya University in 2003, afterwards she graduated from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Arts Illumination Department. She completed her master’s thesis at Marmara University Fine Arts Institute in Çiçek Derman’s consultancy. During her years of education, she took classes from Prof. Çiçek Derman, Prof. Uğur Derman, Prof. Muhittin Serin, Prof. Erol Eti, Assoc. Prof. Sacit Açıkgözoğlu and Asst. Prof. Gülnür Duran. Öztürk has participated in many exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad between 2005 and 2017 and has been giving illumination classes since 2008 in İSMEK.
