Esra Eşin was born in Istanbul in 1968. In 1987, she took illumination classes at A. Süheyl Ünver Workshop from Gülbün Mesara, the daughter of Süheyl Unver. Eşin graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Anadolu University, she participated in courses given by Ülker Erke and İlhan Gökşen during her student years. She also participated in the illumination course organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Topkapı Palace between 1998 and 2000. She successfully completed the classes she took from Semih İrteş, Mamure Öz, Melek Antel, Sevim Kayaoğlu, Birsen Gökçe, and Serap Bostanci and received her certificate. Eşin, who has educated many students, is specialized in "Illumination Education at Young Ages". Many works of the artist are in various collections. She continues participating in exhibitions, and working as an instructor at Didar Art Center.
