Meltem Uçar was born in Ankara in 1970. She is a graduate of Cebeci Girls’ Vocational High School. Uçar started taking illumination classes in 2008 and received her license from Ali Rıza Özcan in 2013 at the Turkish-Islamic Arts Library. She participated in various exhibitions in Turkey, and continues her artistic works.
