Meryem Yumun was born in Erzurum in 1973. She is a graduate of Atatürk University Fine Arts Faculty Illumination Department. Yumun worked as an illumination instructor at İSMEK between 2003-2010, and has been giving classes at Ümraniye Municipality Vocational Training Courses since 2010.
