Münvver Üçer was born in Istanbul in 1965. She is a graduate of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSFAU) Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Arts Department Illumination and Khatt branch. She works as a lecturer at the Illumination Art Major at the same department, where she also did her graduate studies and proficiency in art (doctorate). Üçer held exhibitions both at home and abroad, participated in conferences and presented papers. She has published books titled “The Tulip of the Enlightened”, “The Secret Power Flowing from the Brush”, “Mabeynci Başı Kiosk Kalemişi Restoration Project Work Book”, “Tulip Period in the Palace”. Üçer gives illumination seminars at her workshop in Kadıköy Caddebostan.
