Seher Aşıcı was born in Manisa in 1969. She is a graduate of Marmara University (MU) Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Department. She completed her graduate studies at MU Institute of Social Sciences in 1996, and her proficiency in art/doctorate at MU Institute of Fine Arts with her thesis study titled “Illumination Style of Fatih Period” in 2007. Aşıcı participated in many exhibitions both at home and abroad, her works are in private collections. She continues her works as an instructor at MU Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Department.
