Serap Bostancı Tuluk was born in Istanbul in 1965. She graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Economics Department of Economics in 2013. She did her master’s degree at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University in the field of illumination. In 1988, Tuluk completed the Topkapı Palace Traditional Decorative Arts Course, which she started in 1986. She received her “Ruq’ah Script” certificate from Khattat Mehmet Memiş in 1999 at Topkapı Palace Traditional Turkish Decorative Arts. Tuluk received her illumination license from Semih İrteş and thuluth script license from Hüseyin Kutlu in 1996, her flower and miniature licenses from Melek Antel in 1998. She participated in various personal and group exhibitons both at home and abroad. Tuluk gave classes at many institutions and trained students.
