Zühal Bayram was born in Istanbul in 1969. She is a graduate of Public Relations Department. She started taking illumination classes from Serap Bostancı at Birlik Foundation in 1997, continued her training with Semih İrteş and Mamure Öz between 1998 and 2000; and between 2001 and 2004, she continued her illumination studies with Serap Bostancı at Applied Turkish Islamic Arts Library. She attended Münevver Üçer’s illumination specialization classes at İSMEK between 2006 and 2008. Bayram participated in many group exhibitions both at home and abroad.
