Birgül Tayfur was born in Istanbul in 1968. He completed his high school education in Istanbul, and started to work on art of marbling in 2011. Tayfur received his license from M. İsmail Tirkeş in 2015 and exhibited his work called "Battal Ebru" in the branch of marbling in the 17th and 18th State Decorating Arts Competition. Tayfur continues his works in his own workshop.
