Fatos Atalay, born in 1950, specialized in Biochemistry after graduating from Chemical Engineering. In 2007, she started her marbling training in Feride Dayanç Workshop. She received marbling training in from Kubilay Eralp Dinçer in 2008, and from Çiğdem Ertem at Istanbul Bostancı Public Education Center in 2013-2014 and acquired marbling certificates. She participated in various workshops and group marbling exhibitions. The artist continues her marbling works at Feride Dayanç Workshop.
