Figen Yalçın was born in 1978 in Tekirdağ. She continues her education at the Open Education High School. She received marbling educated from Meryem Beğen and Mahmut Peşteli at İSMEK and at Başakşehir Public Education Center for four years. Yalçın still continues taking Mahmut Peşteli’s classes at Fındıkzade Turkish Islamic Arts Center, while at the same time she teaches at Güneştepe Girl's Qur’an Course and Istanbul Development Agency Esenler Grandfather-Grandson Center.
