Füsun Ipekkan was born in 1952 in Ankara. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Economic and Commercial Sciences, Department of Business Accounting in 1974. Ipekkan, who is continuing her marbling works at Feride Dayanç Ebru Workshop, participated in many exhibitions.
