Meral Oruç was born in 1979 in Kocaeli, Izmit. She is a graduate of Department of Sociology of Anadolu University. She has received marbling training from Gülseher Kahraman at Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Traditional Turkish Decorative Arts Training Center since 2012. She participated in various exhibitions. She is still working as a marbling trainer at the Kılavuz Youth Academy High School affiliated to Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Youth Sports Office.
