Seçil Özyıldırım was born in Düzce in 1952. Özyıldırım, who received her license from Firdevs Çalkanoğlu, has been giving classes at Istanbul Sultanahmet Arena Hotel for five years. She has participated in various personal and group exhibitions. Some of the students Özyıldırım trained are Gül Küçükserin and Rana Akan.
