Serpil Bilmaç was born in Tokat in 1964. She is a graduate of Ege University Faculty of Science, Chemistry Department. She worked as a chemist for many years, and still continues her marbling studies, which she started in 2008, at Feride Dayanç Workshop. Bilmaç participated in various exhibitions both at home and abroad, and held her first personal exhibition in 2016.
