Şükran Aydın, born in 1975, received marbling training from Hikmet Barutçugil and from Mahmut Peşteli. She started working as the assistant of Barutçugil in 2006, and within Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Cultural Affairs Department as the coordinator of culture and art activities in 2010, and coordinator of art galleries in 2012 and took part in important organizations. She still works as a marbling instructor at Traditional Arts Specialization Center in Sakarya, and at Fındıkzade Specialization Center in Istanbul. Aydın continues organizing exhibitions. Some of the students she trained are Büşra Altmışdört, İradet Başer and Arzu Atalay.
