Sümeyra Dursun was born in Istanbul in 1987. She started taking marbling classes from İsmail Dündar and Fuat Başar in 2002, and received her license in 2010. She graduated from Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University Fine Arts Faculty Department of Traditional Turkish Arts in 2017. She took classes from Alparslan Babaoğlu at the university. Dursun participated in group exhibitions both at home and abroad, and won many awards. She gave marbling classes at various institutions and organizations. She has a Ministry of Culture and Tourism Artist Presentation Card. Dursun continues her graduate education in the field of khatt at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University.
