Zeynep Göktürk was born in Bursa in 1970. She is a graduate of Istanbul University Business Administration Faculty, and holds an MBA on Finence from University of Dallas. She started her marbling studies at İSMEK, took classes from Hikmet Bartuçugil for two years, from Firdevs Çalkanoğlu for four years and received her license from Çalkanoğlu. Göktürk’s works were exhibited in “Yunus Emre” exhibition consisting of the works of Hikmet Barutçugil’s students, in “Muhabbet” exhibition consisting of the works of Firdevs Çalkanoğlu’s students, and in World Ebru Day Cogresses organized in 2014 and 2015. She held her first personal exhibition at Istanbul Naval Museum in 2017. She won first prize in Masters of the Future Competition organized by Zeytinburnu Municipality in 2017. Göktürk continues her artistic works at her workshop in Ümraniye, and voluntarily gives marbling classes to the kids at The Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey.
