Zübeyde Yalçınkaya was born in Istanbul in 1985. She is a graduate of Koç University School of Nursing with Full Scholarship. After working as a nurse in the health sector for four years, Yalçınkaya started working in the health field of the insurance sector. She started her marbling training at Koç University Marbling Club in 2004 and took classes from Mehmet Eray Atay within the club for four years. Yalçınkaya continued her studies with Atay at various workshops, and received training at İlker Selimler Marbling Workshop between 2014 and 2016. She won exhibition prizes with her marbling work “Kırmızı Gül” (means ‘the red rose’) in the 2^nd Masters of the Future Competition organized by the Association of Traditional Arts and with “Buket Karanfil” (means ‘carnation bouquet’) in the 4^th Masters of the Future Competition organized by Zeytinburnu Municipality in 2017.
