Serpil Şahin was born in Istanbul in 1967. She took classes from Celalettin Berberoğlu, and started working as a master instructor at Çanakkale Public Education Center in 1991. She participated in various exhibitions both at home and abroad, and held three personal exhibitions. 670m² big artwork named “Commemorative Quilt of Çanakkale 100^th Anniversary Martyr’s’”, produced by Şahin in 2015, was prepared with the participation of women from the 81 cities.
