Abdullah Oğuzhanoğlu was born in Kahramanmaraş in 1975. He is a graduate of Trakya University Wall Decoration Arts (now called Architectural and Decoravite Arts) Associate Degree Program and Ataturk University Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Illumination Department. Oğuzhanoğlu took classes from various masters such as Özkan Tokaç, Ali Sıtkı Özalp, Süleyman Berk, Celaleddin Karadaş, Cem Mutaf, Emin Koz. He has been giving illumination, kalemişi and edirnekâri classes at various institutions and foundations. He participated in many exhibitions, seminars and conferences both at home and abroad, and produced many works. Oğuzhanoğlu also took part in the decoration and restoration works of many old and new structures both in Turkey and abroad. He continues his works at the illumination and kalemişi workshop he founded in 1999.
