Gülnur Bayraktar was born in Ankara in 1965. She retired from banking sector. She took Arabic Language classes for three terms at İSMEK after 2008, illumination classes for one year, and miniature classes at the Classical Turkish Arts Center at Yıldız Palace Şale Kiosk. She received katı’ training for five years at a private workshop, and continued her training at Turkish Islamic Arts Specialization Center. Bayraktar took part as a member of the jury in the Master of the Future Competition 2017, and participated in many group exhibitions. She still works as a master instructor in katı’ branch.
