Ahmet Türk was born in 1977 in Kütahya. He began learning the art of tile-making (çini) in 1995 under the guidance of Şerafettin Barlak. He graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Theology, in 2007, and the same year started working as an imam under the Presidency of Religious Affairs. In 2009, he began studying Islamic calligraphy (hat) with Hattat Mahmut Şahin, and in 2015, he received his calligraphy diploma (icazet). He creates original works by blending tile and calligraphy arts. He continues his tile work today with masters Murat Barlak and Ekrem Karaca.
