Ali Hüsrevoğlu was born in Afyonkarahisar in 1956. He graduated from Marmara University in 1979. He started writing in 1974, and received his license from Hamid Aytaç in 1982. He wrote the scriptures of the last expansion project of Madina - Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in 1992. He started exhibiting his works in 1993, and participated in many personal and group exhibitions in Turkey. Hüsrevoğlu developed tools, materials, methods and his unique style and interpretation. He produced thirty-three different hilya models. He also produced khatt works in “tevhit” form for the first time. Hüsrevoğlu writes the khatt forms thuluth, naskh, diwani, jali diwani, tughra, makili and kufic. Hüsrevoğlu’s works are in many private collections in Turkey and abroad. He has a Ministry of Culture and Tourism Artist Presentation Card in khatt branch.
