Alperen Çelik was born in 1979 in Kastamonu. A graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Theology, Çelik began his calligraphy studies during his high school years and received training from Prof. Dr. Muhittin Serin, Calligrapher Tevfik Kalp, and Calligrapher Aziz Tekiner. In 2018, he received his ijazah in thuluth and naskh scripts from Calligrapher Ahmet Kutluhan with the approval of Master Hasan Çelebi. He has taught calligraphy in project schools and public education centers under the Ministry of National Education and continues to offer online lessons to students across Turkey.
