Ayşe Süheyla Ekici was born in Anamur in 1971. She is a graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Letters Department of Turkish Language and Literature. Ekici started attending Feyza Kırkan’s khatt classes at the Applied Turkish-Islamic Arts Library in 2001, and received her thuluth-naskh license in 2014. She still attends the khatt courses at the Applied Turkish-Islamic Arts Library.
