She was born in Giresun, Turkey. She completed her primary education in Giresun and high school in Germany. She studied on Western Europe Program of Faculty of Business Administration at Anadolu University until the third grade. After many years living in Austria and in 2002 she returned to Turkey in Istanbul. In 2002, she started her education in calligraphy with the calligrapher Aydın Ergün in Istanbul with the conventional method. In 2003, she received the licens of Reqa.
Then she continued to study thuluth and naskh writings. In 2010, with the support of her teacher, “you are sincerely licensed”, she opened her first solo exhibition at the Turkish Embassy in Vienna, titled as “Journey of the Pen to Love”. Between 2012-2014, she taught Reqa at the High School of Islamic Studies (Hochschule Für İslamwissenschaft) in Vienna. In 2014, she received her Thuluth-Naskh license in written. Later, she started to write Diwani and Jeli Diwani lines from her teacher.
She is still working with the calligrapher Tahsin Kurt and continues her works in her workshop located in Tantavi District of Ümraniye, at the foot of Istanbul Çamlıca. She also gives calligraphy lessons.
She continues her life as an Austrian citizen in Istanbul, which she sees as the most beautiful city in the world in every sense, and also has a residence and communication address in Vienna which is a city of history, culture and art. She is married with two children.
