Hülya Mamati was born in 1972 in Erzincan. She is a graduate of Mimar Sinan University Department of Fashion Design, and Istanbul University Faculty of Law. She started her khatt training with the ruq’ah classes she took from Ali Alparslan and continued with the thuluth and naskh classes she took from Ayten Tiryaki between 2011 and 2015. She has been working with Seyyid Ahmet Bursalı since 2015. Mamati participated in the charity exhibition at Hasan Çelebi and His Students Dolmabahçe Art Gallery in 2015.
