Murat İşaşır was born in Bayburt in 1969. He is a graduate of Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Textile Design Department. He received khatt training from Nabi Kalender at İSMEK in 2013-2014. İşaşır received his license in 2017 after completing his thuluth and naskh training, which he started in 2014, with Ömer Faruk Özoğul. He participated in various group exhibitions, and continues his ta’liq training with Fatih Özkafa.
