Alican Ayma was born in Bursa in 1990. He graduated from Dumlupınar University Fine Arts Faculty Ceramics and Glass Department in 2011. He worked as a research and development supervisor in Metallic Glaze San-Thesis Project conducted by Kütahya Ceramcis and Dumlupınar University in 2010. He received his tile technique decoration training from İsmail Yiğit; ceramics shaping, model mold and ceramics technology training from Turgut Tuna. Ayma took part in the International Symposium on Ceramics organized in Limoges/France with his project on Artistic and Metallic Glazes Created in a Reductive Setting. He held his first personal exhibition in 2010, and participated in eight exhibitions in total –two personal, and six group exhibitions-. He won exhibition prize in the Masters of the Future Competition in 2014. Ayma still works as an r&d supervisor at Technologic Ceramics Investments (GKP Paint) company in Bursa.
