Arzu Karayel was born in Istanbul in 1961. She is a graduate of Uludağ University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department. She received ceramics training from Fikret Tuna at Tuna Ceramics Workshop in 1989, and opened her own workshop in 1991. Karayel participated in many exhibitions both at home and abroad. She continues to give training courses at her workshop
