Cüneyt Özkaya was born in İzmir in 1974. He is a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Faculty Ceramics and Glass Department. Özkaya opened his ceramics workshop in 1997, and has been giving ceramics courses at the Turkish Cultural Service Foundation – Cafer Ağa Madrassah. He participated in the Turkey-Norway joint exhibition of ceramic artists in Norway in 2008.
