Born in İzmir, Turkey, 1975. Bachelor’s degree in 2000 taken from the Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Fine Arts Traditional Turkish Arts, Traditional Turkish ceramic department with the thesis: “The Facts Of Decoration On Traditional Turkish Ceramics And Contemporary Products”. Master’s degree in 2003 taken from Dokuz Eylul University Institute of Fine Arts, Traditional Turkish Arts Department, with the thesis, “The Current Situation of Traditional Pottery in The Aegean Region”. The Proficiency in Arts degree in 2010 taken from the same Institute, with the thesis, “Peculiarities of Forms of Ceramic Serving Pots Used in The Palace Kitchen of Ottoman Period”.
She has national and international articles and exhibitions about traditional Turkish ceramics (çini). She works on underglaze luster decoration and fritware techniques. She produces new useless ceramics to react the contemporary underglaze decorated wares and also she produces designs for to use. Besides lots of group exhibitions, she has four solo exhibitions. She continues her produces as assistant proffessor in Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Traditional Turkish Arts, Turkey.
