Kemal Çalışkan was born in 1986 in Yozgat. He is from Kırıkkale. Çalışkan, who started his art education in Uludağ University Iznik Vocational School Tile Processing Department in 2006, continued his studies within the same university and in various workshops. Çalışkan completed his training by doing his internship in Kütahya Güral Porcelain and started his education in the field of painting in 2008 at Uludağ University Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department. He had and completed his masters degree at Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Traditional Turkish Arts Department of Old Tiles Repairs. He studied İznik Tiles and made researches on Faik Kırımlı. Currently, Çalışkan works as a branch teacher in the field of graphics - photography within the Ministry of National Education.
