Nimet Yılmazer was born in Kastamonu in 1963. She is a graduate of Kadir-Rezan Has Middle School. Yılmazer took stitching classes from Melek Öztür in 1978. She can embroider with the traditional calculation work technique with the training she received from İSMEK. Yılmazer is still embroidering and sewing clothes at her handicrafts store.
