Born in Izmir in 1970, Yubas continued with folk dances after working as a ballerina at the Izmir State Opera and Ballet during middle school and high school. Having attended embroidery courses at public education centers and received five different certificates, Yubas completed the hand-made Maraş thread technique course from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism. She works on fabrics such as cross-stitch runners and wire-broidered prayer rug sets. Yubas is married and has two children.
