I was born in Kandıra. Due to my father’s job, after living in various provinces of Turkey, I returned to my hometown, Kandıra. Subsequently, I retired after working 26 years at Kandıra Public Education Center, but I am still working as a master instructor at the same public education center. My main branches are traditional Turkish embroidery, hand and machine embroidery. The content and pattern designs belong to me in the book about Kandıra cloth and Kandıra embroidery on Kandıra cloth which is prepared by Kandıra District Governorship.
