Ahmet Düz, born in 1960, is a graduate of Şişli High School. He learnt the art of wood carving by the master-apprentice tradition. Düz gave classes at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, in the department of Turkish Fine Arts for a period of time, and participated in many group exhibitions.
